Man UtD are favourites to lift the FA Cup with a victory over Everton, according to The Sport Bet.
It will mark the first time in more than 50 years that a top-four side have won the title in the FA Community Shield, but The Sportbet believes that Arsenal will be the favourites with Arsenal captain Robin van Persie leading the line.
“Man UtD will be in pole position for a title after winning the Community Shield,” the site said.
“Arsenal will be hoping to win the trophy, and the Dutchman van Persia is the best option to do it.”
“Man United have been the favourite to win it since last season, and Van Persie has been one of the best goal scorers in the Premier League so far this season.”
The Gunners will be keen to stay in the top four, but if they do, they will have to make a run to the final to avoid being knocked out.””
It will be a big game for both teams and a must-win for them.
“But if the Gunners do well, they can still pull off a shock victory to finish second.”
Man Utd have now won all three of their FA Cup ties this season and will face a tricky FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal on Friday.
Arsenal will face Sunderland in the last 16The Gunns’ home clash with Sunderland will be their last in the competition and they will look to finish the campaign strong, as they have only lost four times in their last six matches.
“They have lost their last five away games, so it will be very tough for them,” The SportBet’s Ben Henshaw said.
“The Magpies are very good defensively, and have only conceded two goals in their five games in the league so far.”
Both teams have quality in their squad and should be a tough clash.
“And although the Gunner’s last four games have been against Manchester United and Liverpool, it will still be a good test for the Magpieds.”
“Sunderland will be looking to stay above the relegation zone for the first round of the FA Trophy, and are favourites for a fourth consecutive FA Cup.”
“Both sides are strong defensively and will be pushing for the final.”
